Last month, the Grade 8 Incentive students took part in their outdoor experience trip to Strathcona Park Lodge on Vancouver Island. As usual, Strathcona provided a immersive blend of beautiful, natural scenery to disconnect from busy life and reconnect with their peers, aided by the knowledgable and experience Strathcona leaders.
The students took part in Strathcona’s introductory outdoor experience which included a chance to try out various activities such as rock climbing, zip-lining, and high ropes, as well as an out-trip which saw the students hike or canoe to a camp site and spend one night sleeping under the stars.

A huge thank you to the Strathcona staff for providing a safe and positive space for our students to tackle new challenges and form a new appreciation for nature. Everyone came back with lots of smiles and new memories. Til next year!
