Incentive Camp 2025

Kicking off the new school year, the Incentive Program went on its annual fall retreat but this time to a new venue at Camp Stillwood. While the location was new, the spirit and the activities were familiar, with 10 Palmer teachers contributing their time and energy to run a variety of team-building activities and challenges. As always, the fall Incentive Camp offers the students a chance to create new friendships and strengthen existing ones.

Along with the usual activities, this year we were joined by Cease Wyss who led our First Nations art session. Sharing her knowledge and stories, the students got a chance to learn the history and meaning of First Nations crafts while creating a piece to keep for themselves.

We are thankful to Cease for sharing her time and energy with us, and grateful to the Palmer staff for the same, to help make the camp another success. Here’s to the students paying that energy and effort forward to their Palmer classmates!
