After a successful Palmer Science Fair 2026 held back in January, a select group of Palmer students once again showcased their projects at the annual Greater Vancouver Regional Science Fair at the University of British Columbia.
This past April 9-11, high school students from across the Lower Mainland brought their projects and competed in a variety of grade and subject categories. In total, 9 groups from Palmer represented their school and Richmond by having sharing their projects and research with the GVRSF judges.
These students and their projects impressed their evaluators and their research and effort earned them recognition. In total, Palmer students were awarded one Honourable Mention, one Bronze, and one Gold in Grade 8, as well as one Silver, one Gold, and a UBC Statistics Award in Grade 9.
Thank you to all the science student mentors and teachers for their support for the students, and congratulations to the students themselves on their hard work and for once again helping Palmer be one of the top awarded schools at the GVRSF!
