Advanced Placement (AP)

If you are a student who is already in Grade 10 or 11, and wish to take an Advanced Placement (AP) course next school year, you must complete and submit an AP Recommendation Form to the Program/Department (see link below for a PDF copy). Applications for AP courses are considered on a continual basis until the end of June of the previous school year, provided the course(s) run, and there is space in the course. Note that some AP courses (that do not have enough registered students to run individually on-timetable) may either be run through RVS online (Richmond Virtual School), or via an IDS (Independent Directed Studies) block on- or off-timetable at Palmer.
For more information regarding AP courses, please go to “Academics” on the top menu bar, and click on “Advanced Placement Program” on the drop-down menu.
