This year Camp Squamish took place at the beautiful Cheakamus Center in Squamish, BC. Nestled amongst the forest and river, the students once again took part in a variety of team-building activities and challenges. The 9 teams and their mentors tried their hand at the treasure hunt, writing and performing their team chants, and learning about Indigenous art in a drum-making session led by local First Nations artist Alice Guss.
Special thanks to the teachers (Mrs. Calaciura, Ms. Epp, Mr. Gavsie, Ms. Lee, and Mr. Wong) and the mentors for supporting the students throughout this trip.
